Rubber P Sections for Gate Seals and Lock Seals
Rubber P seals are named for their unique shape, which features a hollow bulb resembling the letter “P.” Despite being made from solid rubber, the hollow center allows the seal to compress easily, forming a dependable watertight barrier. These seals are often used for sealing hatches, doors, floodgates, and gaps between panels in vehicles to prevent contact between different components.
Available in various sizes with different bulb and flange designs, rubber P seals are easy to bond to clean, flat surfaces using our Bridgebond Contact Adhesive or FC40 Polyurethane Sealant. The flange can also be modified by adding a Solid Rubber Strip to increase its thickness or length.
